Job Description

Elevate Your Career as a Sr Maintenance Planning Technician at CBRE! As a Maintenance Planning Senior Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence and sustained performance of company-managed buildings. Your contributions will be instrumental in optimizing maintenance operations and upholding CBRE's commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Order Management and Assignment:
Systematically organize and strategically assign work orders to individual technicians or dedicated work teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion.
Subcontractor Coordination:
Manage the engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors, ensuring their services align with project requirements and company standards.
Resource Staging and Preparation:
Collaborate closely with technicians to meticulously prepare and stage necessary materials, permits, subcontractor resources, tools, and other essential assets for planned maintenance activities.
Workflow Optimization and Documentation:
Develop, maintain, and disseminate standardized workflow processes across the account team to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
Predictive Maintenance Analysis and Reporting:
Review predictive maintenance data to identify trends, analyze insights, and provide comprehensive, regular reports to the management team and clients, informing strategic decisions.
Program Review and Enhancement:
Conduct annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize performance and longevity of equipment and systems.
Application of Technical Principles:
Demonstrate foundational knowledge of standard engineering principles, applying them effectively in practical scenarios.
Leadership and Values Alignment:

Required Qualifications:
Educational Background:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma complemented by 2-3 years of relevant job-related experience. Consideration will also be given to candidates possessing an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Physical Demands:
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Problem-Solving Capability:
Proficiency in utilizing established procedures to resolve standard technical problems and applying analytical skills to make informed judgments.
Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Organizational and Analytical Skills:
Exceptional organizational capabilities combined with a strong inquisitive mindset, promoting continuous improvement.
Mathematical Aptitude:
Intermediate mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial figures pertinent to maintenance planning.
Desirable Experience:
Prior experience in Vehicle Fleet Administration, asset management, and on-call scheduling is considered a significant advantage.
