Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine maintenance across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership abilities to support our operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems, and appliances to ensure continuous operation. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime and extend lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions. Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC units, refrigeration systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment with precision. Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or system installations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections. Lead or support team efforts during emergency repairs or system failures to restore operations swiftly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment maintenance. Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation controls. Experience with refrigeration systems used in commercial or industrial settings. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus. Leadership qualities to guide team members during maintenance projects or urgent repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
