Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pool & Spa Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep pools and spas sparkling clean, safe, and fully functional! You'll be responsible for ensuring that every customer enjoys a pristine swimming environment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining the overall health of pools and spas. Paid training is provided to help you excel in this vital role. Responsibilities Perform regular pool and spa cleaning, including skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, and brushing tiles to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using hand tools and power tools; replace parts as needed to keep systems running smoothly. Maintain chemical balance by testing water parameters and adding appropriate chemicals to ensure safety and clarity. Identify potential maintenance issues early by conducting visual inspections and addressing minor repairs before they escalate. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and chemical treatments administered for each client site. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment efficiently. Experience with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and inspecting systems. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and installation. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and water testing. Service technician experience preferred; capable of diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for record keeping. Ability to work independently while managing multiple job sites in a timely manner.
