The Maintenance Technician IV is an expert-level technician responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, implementing advanced maintenance strategies, and ensuring the highest level of reliability and efficiency in facility systems.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring optimal performance of facilities and systems. Develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and enhance efficiency. Conduct expert-level troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Lead training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high competency levels. Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to service agreements. Ensure all maintenance activities are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. 5+ years of experience in a related field. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. Mastery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Valid driver's license. Experience with safe use of tools and equipment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master-level certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical). Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Mastery of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Experience working with hand and power tools. Ability to drive a forklift.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work on-site. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift. Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment. Ability to work in potentially hazardous or loud environments. Ability to travel as required. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
