This position plays a critical role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our guests and team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and exterior grounds. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, and other building systems. Complete routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls. Perform painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, caulking, and general upkeep projects. Maintain hotel equipment, tools, and maintenance storage areas in an organized and safe manner. Assist with renovation projects and vendor coordination when needed. Ensure compliance with all hotel safety standards, brand requirements, and local building codes. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules. Support the hotel team during emergencies and after-hours maintenance situations as needed. Assist with pool, hot tub, laundry equipment, and common area maintenance when applicable. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and complete repairs efficiently. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and work order systems. Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with IHG hotels or hospitality maintenance. HVAC certification or trade certifications are a plus. HotelKey PMS experience is beneficial but not required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
