Englewood, CO 80110 What You'll Be Doing We're hiring immediately for a Maintenance Mechanic role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production equipment and facility systems. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and maintaining a safe workplace. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Equipment Maintenance & Repair Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime. Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment to identify and correct equipment failures. Repair and maintain machinery in accordance with equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications. Inspect equipment regularly and recommend repairs or improvements to enhance performance and reliability. Machine Installation & Setup Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Ensure new machines are prepared for operation according to established procedures, safety standards, and production requirements. Verify proper functionality and performance before equipment is released for production use. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement Monitor equipment performance and collect operational data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities. Recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and extend equipment life. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, reliability, and operational excellence. Diagnose increasingly complex equipment issues with minimal supervision as experience and proficiency grow. Mechanical & Electrical Systems Service and troubleshoot industrial equipment including: Die cast machines Hydraulic systems and components Pneumatic systems and tools Electric motors and motor controls Conveyor systems Production machinery and support equipment Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations. Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of workplace safety. More duties may be assigned upon hire.
What You'll Need:
Education & Experience Technical school certification, skilled trades training, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related experience preferred. Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals. Preferred Skills Experience working in a manufacturing, die casting, machining, or industrial production environment. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and maintenance management systems. Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus. Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment is preferred. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment. Ability to work around moving machinery, elevated platforms, and industrial equipment. Manual dexterity required for the use of tools, instruments, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work extended hours or overtime as needed to support production operations.
