This is a flexible 1099 contractor position. Full-time work is not guaranteed. However, top performers who deliver consistent quality typically stay busy year-round with flexible scheduling and steady client demand.
Key Duties:
Perform basic repairs and punch lists on vacant apartment units (make-readies) Handle general maintenance tasks including plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC filter/thermostat work, carpentry, appliances, painting touch-ups, and doors/hardware Take clear before/after photos and submit documentation for completed work Maintain professional communication with dispatch and property managers
Requirements:
2+ years relevant experience in apartment maintenance, turnovers, or field service preferred Must own your own set of hand and power tools Reliable vehicle (truck or van helpful) Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and car insurance Professional, self-motivated, and comfortable using a smartphone for communication and photo uploads
