Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of two commercial/manufacturing facilities in Fort Collins. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating outside vendors to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and upkeep across two local facilities, including interior and exterior work Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, and building systems Coordinate and oversee subcontractors for specialized repairs (electrical, plumbing, roofing, etc.) Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent larger issues Support manufacturing floor needs, ensuring equipment areas and workspaces remain safe and functional Complete preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment Handle minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Document completed work and communicate updates to leadership
Requirements:
Previous experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance Strong working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot issues and take initiative on repairs Experience working with and coordinating outside vendors/subcontractors Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
