Perform maintenance, service, start-up, and commissioning per manufacturer's specifications for any type of commercial, industrial, and residential VRF-VRV equipment, split systems, make up air units, exhaust fans, energy recovery ventilators, unit heaters, unit ventilators, variable air volume terminals, zoning dampers, dampers, actuators, single zone ductless mini split systems, furnaces, fan coils, heat pumps and condensers with no supervision. Good working knowledge of specialty systems and can perform maintenance, service, start-up, and commissioning per manufacturer's specifications with some supervision for HVAC systems such as zoned ductless mini split systems, variable air volume, high velocity/high pressure, hydronic systems, radiant in-floor, snow melt, baseboard, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, humidification, zoning, and zoning controls. Can demonstrate the ability to use and interpret diagnostic and service equipment including but not limited to volt ohm meter, amp clamp, manometer, refrigeration manifold gauges, vacuum gauges, combustion analyzer, reclaim machine, nitrogen regulator, vacuum pump, digital thermometer, air hood, and pitot tube traverse. Certification or proven skills in brazing techniques utilizing an oxygen/acetylene torch. Skills to perform final low voltage wiring, controls wiring, controls final tie ins, terminations, temporary, and final start-ups for any type of VRF-VRV with no supervision. Demonstrate good diagnostic, troubleshooting skills, maintenance, and repair skills. Read, interpret, and carry out instructions as called for in blueprints, specifications, sequence of operation instructions, product installation, engineering, owner's manuals, VRF-VRV equipment wiring diagrams and control schematics. Ability to complete company required paperwork in a timely and professional manner. Produce quality workmanship while completing service calls and projects on time and on budget with few or no callbacks. Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate is required. Minimum 4 to 6 years of commercial/industrial/residential service experience. Minimum 2 or more years of commercial/industrial/residential VRF-VRV service experience. HVAC Associates Degree or Certificate may be substituted for two years of experience. Valid Colorado driver's license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in previous 5 years. Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, physical conditions of employment job screen, and team interview as condition of employment. EPA refrigerant certification Type II or Universal. Working knowledge of personal protective equipment and safety practices. Good work ethic and the desire to advance professionally and personally. Demonstrate the ability to work alone or part of a team. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and work proficiency with computers and hand-held devices such as smart phones, tablets, etc. Neat appearance accompanied with good listening and communication skills in order to communicate clearly with customers, fellow technicians, support staff, and supervisory personnel. Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions on rooftops, outside of buildings, and residences, crawlspaces, attics, and other types of confined spaces. Work from either a step ladder, extension ladder, or man lift with no fear of heights. Demonstrate good customer service skills, communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and common-sense judgement. Ability to maintain a positive, willing, and trainable attitude. Work flexible hours and some overtime on occasion depending on service access requirements. Pay:
