Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and functionality of the property, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including the use of schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, residential painting, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems to support building management functions. Manage facilities maintenance requests using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize guest disruption. Supervise or assist with projects involving manufacturing or large-scale repairs, ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to guests and staff. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed, parts used, and system updates for compliance and future reference. Requirements Proven experience in facilities or hotel maintenance with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems. Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques; experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general carpentry tasks; ability to perform basic mechanical repairs confidently. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to read technical schematics accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in manufacturing or facilities management environments. Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams is preferred; ability to coordinate multiple projects efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Ability to interpret technical documents including schematics; proficient in using CMMS software for work order management.
