This role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and facilities within manufacturing and residential environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance, welding, and schematic interpretation. The Maintenance Technician will ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across all work areas, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and system adjustments. Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems. Supervise or assist with projects requiring leadership or team coordination. Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols during all maintenance activities. Support customer service initiatives by ensuring equipment reliability and operational excellence. Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and facilities maintenance procedures. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters. Proficiency in welding techniques and residential painting is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Leadership or supervising experience is desirable for team coordination roles. Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous. This position offers an engaging work environment where technical expertise meets hands-on problem solving to support our operational goals while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld at all times.
