In this role, you will be the go-to professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, creating a welcoming environment for residents, tenants, and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills, electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting that values initiative and quality workmanship. Duties Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs. Conduct electrical work such as troubleshooting circuits, replacing fixtures, and interpreting schematics to ensure systems are safe and operational. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters to diagnose and resolve electrical or mechanical issues efficiently. Supervise small maintenance teams or contractors during specific projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed to standard. Perform residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics while adhering to safety standards. Read schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical systems, welding procedures, and general facilities maintenance. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot diverse repair issues quickly. Proficiency in electrical systems, including experience with schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing tools like Ohmmeters. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with residents, tenants, or clients regarding maintenance needs. Supervising experience to lead small teams or oversee contractors on various projects confidently. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices across residential, commercial, or manufacturing settings. Fluency in English for clear communication within diverse teams and with stakeholders.
