You will leverage your mechanical aptitude to ensure that every facility remains secure, functional, and compliant with safety standards, directly impacting the operational efficiency of our clients. Responsibilities Execute precise installations and repairs of commercial door systems, including hollow metal frames and storefront glazing. Diagnose complex mechanical failures in springs, hinges, and locking mechanisms to restore site security. Configure and calibrate advanced access control hardware and automatic door operators for seamless performance. Verify that all completed work adheres strictly to local building codes and safety regulations. Deliver high-quality service by explaining technical solutions clearly to clients and ensuring their needs are met. Maintain detailed service logs and documentation to track maintenance history and project progress. Perform rigorous quality inspections on all hardware and assemblies to guarantee long-term reliability. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure. Physical capability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring kneeling or bending. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established protocols. Preferred Skills 2+ years of experience in commercial door repair or related field service roles. Technical knowledge of various door brands, hardware configurations, and industrial dock equipment. Experience interpreting blueprints or technical schematics for door installations.
