Job Description

Facility Maintenance Technician Join Community Options, Inc. as a Facility Maintenance Technician and help create safe, functional, and welcoming environments for the individuals and programs we serve. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, variety in their workday, and meaningful work that supports the community. Responsibilities include general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across residential and program facilities, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, drywall, exterior maintenance, snow removal, and responding to work orders in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently while managing changing priorities. Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills are essential. This position also requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and maintaining accurate digital work orders and maintenance records. Qualified applicants must have a valid Colorado driver's license, a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier, and the ability to meet all agency hiring and eligibility requirements. General maintenance, facilities, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or appliance repair experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round and performing physically active work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and operating tools and equipment safely.
