The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Conduct daily, weekly and monthly walk throughs of the hotel and inspect equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, systems, and building infrastructure. Read and interpret technical manuals to execute repairs accurately. Complete guest room preventative maintenance Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and materials used. Assist other departments as necessary or as requested. Take trash out to the dumpster, perform basic janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping and restocking. Complete additional tasks as assigned or required for the position Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Excellent command of the English language for clear communication with team members and stakeholders. Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately is required. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to safety protocols.
