Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MaintenanceTechnician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general property maintenance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in ensuring that our properties remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure daily upkeep of the physical building, apartment units, property exterior and common area appearance in accordance with company standards. Required to be "on call" and have a reliable vehicle. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Ability to deal courteously with fellow staff and vendors.
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with building and common area maintenance.
  • Participate in the Company's training classes, as required.
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Adhere to the Company's Safety Programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain property equipment
  • Complete make-ready maintenance.
  • Assists in the completion of make ready units.
  • Provides minor carpentry and sheet rock repairs.
  • Repairs minor electrical problems.
  • Re-key locks and cuts keys.
  • Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on apartments as they become vacant.
  • Assist as required and assigned in painting of interior units, office, clubhouse, common areas, and occupied units.
  • Repairs minor plumbing problems.
  • Assists in monitoring inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies, facilitating accurate replacement orders.
  • Incorporates both safety and customer service in performance of all job duties.
  • Continuously inspects the property for safety hazards that pose a liability or potential liability.
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.
