• Part-time Ethos Private Home Management is seeking qualified, motivated, and responsible members to join our growing Operations Team servicing Steamboat Springs, CO.

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of short term rental homes, private homes, & commercial businesses throughout the town of Steamboat Springs. This position requires the ability to proactively identify, lead and oversee projects that improve the overall function of privately owned homes and businesses.

Primary Role:

Troubleshoot and fix common household maintenance items Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues before they become actual problems Work as a team with other departments to ensure top tier property care Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner Coordinate and communicate with sub-contractors and homeowners Build rapport with 3rd party vendors and subcontractors Look for ways to help grow the business Day to

Day :

Troubleshoot and repair GFCI's, garbage disposals, thermostats, fuses, plumbing basics, shower heads, sink supply lines, changing gaskets, toilet seats, wax rings, flush levers, flappers, drywall, paint, caulking, and appliance troubleshooting. Perform maintenance to our properties such as repairing furniture, unclogging drains, painting, replacing broken items, and cleaning fireplaces. Maintain organization and upkeep of supplies in storage such as tools, space heaters, and fans. Keep maintenance vehicle clean and organized

Requirements :

Prior experience conducting home maintenance or performing maintenance in the vacation rental field Competent in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting and carpentry (construction trade history is a plus) Great communication and customer service skills Ability to think on your feet and find multiple solutions to a problem, with good common sense and communicate issues with manager Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs Ability to be self-sufficient and independently complete jobs Have reliable transportation Excellent problem solving skills Excellent time management Highly organized Adaptable Willingness to learn Some evenings, holiday, weekend, and on-call availability English fluency (
