The Opportunity Duke's Landscape Company is seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to maintain and enhance high-end residential and commercial landscapes throughout Colorado's Front Range and Rocky Mountain regions. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on landscape maintenance, property appearance, plant health, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and possess irrigation experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems as needed. You will play a key role in ensuring our properties remain healthy, beautiful, and maintained to the highest standards year-round. How You Will Make an Impact Landscape Maintenance Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance on high-end residential and commercial properties. Monitor and maintain the health of trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and ornamental plantings. Perform pruning, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, seasonal cleanups, and general property upkeep. Identify and address landscape issues before they become larger problems. Complete landscape enhancements, plant replacements, and property improvement projects. Maintain exceptional curb appeal and presentation standards across all assigned properties. Communicate property needs and recommendations to management. Irrigation Responsibilities Perform irrigation system inspections, seasonal start-ups, winterizations, and shut-downs. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and related components. Program and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper coverage and water efficiency. Diagnose irrigation-related issues and implement effective solutions. Assist with irrigation upgrades and minor installations as needed. General Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Maintain accurate records of completed work and service needs. Work independently while managing multiple properties and priorities. Support team members and contribute to a positive, professional work environment. Follow all company safety standards and operational procedures. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years of landscape maintenance experience in residential and/or commercial settings. Irrigation experience required, including troubleshooting, repairs, controller programming, and seasonal system maintenance. Strong knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, turf maintenance, and landscape best practices. Ability to identify landscape health issues and recommend corrective actions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Experience maintaining luxury residential estates or high-end commercial properties. Knowledge of Colorado-specific plant materials and growing conditions. Landscape construction or enhancement experience. Experience leading small crews or mentoring team members. Familiarity with smart irrigation technologies and water conservation practices. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation of $25-$30 per hour based on experience.
