Richman Property Services, Inc. (RPS) is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? Maintenance Technician 1
Location:
Crescent Crossing, our 264-unit affordable residential community in Bridgeport, CT 06608
Key Qualifications:
Two or more years of maintenance operations experience in a multi-family residential communities EPA I & II or EPA Universal is required for this position, however if you possess all the skills, experience and drive RPS is looking for, we may sponsor/pay for your
EPA I & II
within your first 75-days on the job. Full details will be discussed during the interview process Experience with Yardi property management software products Valid/Active driver's license is required (and verified) for this position What we offer: Competitive base hourly rate of pay, automatic quarterly (every 3 months) pay increases following initial 90-days of service, monthly personal cell phone allowance of $40.00 per month, eligible for end of year discretionary bonus Day time work schedules (except for on-call), excellent array of Employee benefits and programs, and more Career advance and growth opportunities as RPS continues to grow in this region and across the U.S.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seeking educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
