Landscaping Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Maintenance tech is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the facilities and equipment. This job includes performing routine maintenance tasks, trouble shooting and repairing mechanical systems, preventative maintenance and capitol improvements to improve business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, efficient problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry repairs, landscaping, performing preventative maintenance schedules and responding to maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. •Potential for position to transition from part-time to full-time•

Responsibilities:

Perform Routine Maintenance •Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems and electrical systems. Lubricate, clean and replace parts as necessary to maintain equipment in good working condition. Troubleshooting and Repair Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions. Repair or replace defective parts in various systems, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC and shop equipment. Facility Upkeep Ensure that the building's interior and exterior are well-maintained. Perform construction tasks such has carpentry, painting and drywall. Maintain landscaping and ensure that grounds are clean and presentable. Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Monitor and control maintenance inventory, procurement of parts and supplies as needed. Emergency Response Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency maintenance requests. Provide on-call support as needed to address urgent issues outside of regular working hours. Respond to after hours work as needed and for snow removal. Requirements and Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical wiring, plumbing and HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints and other documents. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Provide basic tools.

Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
