Job Description
Savol Pools is a full service swimming pool company. Located in East Hartford, Connecticut, we service commercial, municipal, institutional and residential swimming pools and spas. Our niche is centered on not building pools, but servicing them 12 months a year. Our staff are all Certified Pool Operators® (we also teach CPO® classes) and hold licenses and certifications. We also distribute a wide variety of pool chemicals, equipment and accessories. Swimming Pool Technician Assistant Responsibilities include assisting experienced technicians with: Pool openings and closings Leak detection and repairs Troubleshooting and replacement of pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.) Water testing and chemical balancing Liner installation Safety cover installation Qualifications Pool service experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift 50+ pounds Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays during peak season Reliable transportation to our office in East Hartford, CT Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team Compensation & Benefits $20 - $25+ per hour based on experience On-the-job training Paid time off Company paid training classes Opportunities for advancement
