Are you a skilled troubleshooter with a knack for keeping complex machinery running at peak performance? We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing process, ensuring our CNC machines and physical plant operate safely and efficiently. Job Summary As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will handle everything from routine preventive care to complex emergency repairs.
Diagnose & Repair:
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions in CNC-controlled equipment and plant machinery.
System Maintenance:
Install, repair, and replace motors, control devices, and electronics (ranging from 480V to control voltage).
Preventive Care:
Perform scheduled maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime.
Precision Work:
Dismantle machinery using hoists and cranes to access and replace defective components.
Documentation:
Read equipment manuals/blueprints and maintain detailed records of all repairs performed.
Safety First:
Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and safety protocols, including working at heights up to 30ft.
Minimum Requirements Experience:
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (or equivalent technical education).
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in electrical systems (PLC knowledge, relays, starters, 480V) and industrial installations (alignments, cranes, etc.).
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for 6+ hours, climb ladders, and access confined spaces.
Independence:
Proven ability to make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
Work Environment & Schedule Conditions:
High-energy manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
Flexibility:
Must be available for all shifts and overtime as required.
Availability:
Must be able to participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.
Compliance:
Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
