Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance operations of a residential community in Hamden, CT. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, responds well to day-to-day maintenance needs, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and well-kept property for residents. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance responsibilities in both occupied and vacant apartments. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and being part of a team that helps keep the community running smoothly. Responsibilities Complete daily work orders in occupied and vacant apartments in a timely and professional manner Assist with preventative maintenance and routine property upkeep Perform basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance work, based on experience Help maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the property Communicate professionally with residents and provide updates when needed Follow company safety standards and maintenance procedures Support the team with additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned Qualifications Prior residential, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work preferred Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple work orders Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation required Valid driver's license preferred Dependable, professional, and responsive approach to work Indeed Screening Questions Are you available to work weekends or evenings if needed? From $18.00 per hour
