Felner is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Middletown, CT. Compensation:
$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements Manage your schedule efficiently to balance planned maintenance and urgent repair requests Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress as needed Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property Maintain a clean and safe workspace Consistently use electronic management software Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Excellent time management and organizational skills Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to upholding the highest standards of service Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments Previous experience in maintenance, carpentry, general contracting, or other related fields Familiarity with hand-held power tools and equipment Deadline and detail-oriented Have either proficiency or willingness to use technology-based methods for tracking and note-taking Team Player About Company Our team is the heartbeat of everything we do.
