Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment to provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of facility excellence, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems function optimally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance efforts, collaborate with various departments, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience through diligent facilities management. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues Perform painting, carpentry, and other mechanical repairs to maintain the hotel's infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities while delivering excellent customer service to internal teams.
Preventative Maintenance:
Conducting routine inspections of hotel equipment and building systems to prevent breakdowns.
General Repairs:
Fixing plumbing (leaking faucets, toilets), electrical items (lights, switches), and minor repairs to walls, doors, and furniture.
HVAC Maintenance:
Changing filters and maintaining heating and cooling units in guest rooms.
Guest Service:
Responding quickly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to ensure comfort and safety.
Exterior Maintenance:
Maintaining grounds, parking lots, pools, and exterior lighting.
Safety Compliance:
Following company policies, safety procedures, and maintaining cleanliness of workshops and service areas
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
