Connect with your calling. Edgehill, the premiere luxury retirement community in Stamford, is looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing. We need candidates who love working with people, particularly with the senior population. The Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). S/he implements regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff. If you like to work and help maintain a luxury, five-star building and be challenged with new and interesting projects every day, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Must have good building maintenance experience, and be familiar with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs. Perform routine maintenance throughout the community. Demonstrates excellent trouble-shooting skills. Be able to think outside the box to figure out a solution. Work with the electronic work order system (PM Worx) Provide excellent customer service to residents, families and everyone in the community. Participate in the "On-Call Technician" program which may include working beyond office hours, weekends and holidays. Requirements HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certification preferred High School Graduate or equivalent 2-3 Years or More Experience of facilities and/or building maintenance, mechanical/electrical/plumbing/HVAC installation, maintenance and/or repair. Loves to work with seniors. Excellent customer service skills.
