The Mobility Technician is a key member of the nursing team. They work alongside our RN's, PCT's/CNA's, and therapy teams to help mobilize our patients, transport them to and from therapies, along with a variety of other nursing unit responsibilities. This position provides people with great exposure to several healthcare opportunities/careers and allows for direct patient contact.
Qualifications:
H.S Diploma or G.E.D. required Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR certification preferred prior to hire
WORK SCHEDULE
Per Diem, Varied hours/Varied Units Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as:
Milne Units:
Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes: Continuous telemetry monitoring Ventilator support and weaning LVAD patient population Heart Transplant population Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical Units offer skills such as: Stroke Complex wounds Telemetry Pulmonary care Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty Units are CARF Accredited with a focused patient population: Traumatic Brain Injury Stroke Spinal cord Injury
