Full-Time Hours:
Stable, consistent 40-hour work week; Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities As a Rental Maintenance Technician, you will handle day-to-day turn maintenance, resident work orders, and preventative property care.
Your main duties will include:
Diagnosing and resolving routine maintenance requests submitted by residents. Preparing vacant units for new move-ins ("turning" units), ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and functional standards. Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Handling basic carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and hardware replacements. Maintaining clear, professional communication with residents and the property management office regarding job statuses. Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance. Job Requirements & Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must bring a solid foundation of hands-on property maintenance skills.
Technical Knowledge:
Must have demonstrated, working knowledge in the following trades:
Carpentry:
Drywall repair, door/window adjustments, cabinetry, and trim work.
Plumbing:
Fixing leaks, clearing drains, replacing faucets, toilets, and garbage disposals.
Electrical:
Replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and troubleshooting basic circuits.
HVAC Systems:
Basic troubleshooting, filter replacements, and diagnosing minor heating/cooling issues (EPA certification is a major plus!).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential property maintenance or a related trade.
License:
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required to operate the company vehicle).
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents.
