Summary:
Performs unsupervised scheduled/unscheduled general building/facility maintenance, carpentry, facility equipment and utility repairs as needed to provide continuous availability.Key Responsbilities:
Performs unsupervised work in all phases of carpentry including but not limited to drywall construction, finishing and painting, etc. Performs basic plumbing repairs- removing, repairing or replacing pipe, fixtures and makes repairs to same. Cuts and threads pipe, solders and installs. Conduct weekly fire suppression system PIV valves and fire pump operation checks. Conducts daily air compressor up keep
- oil level, pressures, change filters, clean coils etc. Changes filters on all air conditioners, water systems and other mechanical systems. Conducts daily boiler upkeep
- chemical tests, PH balance and operates boiler chemical addition system.
