This role combines responsible driving duties with hands-on maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, and excellent customer service skills, contributing to a well-maintained environment that supports our organizational goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic setting. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to transport residents, personnel, between the facility and appointment locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake systems. Conduct general facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and minor carpentry work to ensure operational continuity. Utilize schematics, electrical diagrams, and the Ohmmeter to diagnose and repair electrical systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Execute welding tasks and residential painting projects as needed to maintain the facility's appearance and structural integrity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Qualifications Experience working with and transporting geriatric patients/residents. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in general facility maintenance, residential painting, and troubleshooting schematics. Electrical experience with familiarity in using tools such as the Ohmmeter for diagnostics. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related automation systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members. Supervising experience or leadership capabilities that support team coordination and task management. Ability to operate CMMS software efficiently for work tracking and maintenance planning.
