We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy. The Dock Worker operates in cold storage and dock environments with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include efficiently storing, unloading, loading, shuttling, and shipping products and raw materials using forklifts and semi-tractors, in accordance with established safety and quality standards. The role supports both battered and raw breaded production lines and requires the use of SAP and WMS software for accurate record-keeping and paperwork completion.
Accountabilities:
Assign storage locations, rotate stock, and prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Process bills of lading, coordinate shipping schedules, load finished products, and maintain records of shipments and receipts. Move trailers on and off docks, start freezing units, and troubleshoot trailer thermal systems as needed. Check product temperatures, maintain product recall systems, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Follow all safety rules and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), enforce visitor guidelines, and keep work areas clean and orderly. Complete paperwork and checklists accurately and promptly using SAP/WMS; enter finished goods into inventory and generate shipping documents. Respond to weekend calls if issues arise with parked, outbound trailers. Communicate effectively with key personnel to facilitate smooth production operations and support Operations and Maintenance functions. Compensation Package:
$26.15 Hourly USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
