Job Description

Beachside Hospitality Group II is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking care of day-to-day repairs at each of our facilities as well as performing our monthly, quarterly, and yearly preventive maintenance tasks that help maintain our restaurants. Job Duties:
Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets in a safe and acceptable state of repair. Implement preventative maintenance program for all facilities and associated equipment. Perform basic repairs on all electrical, plumbing, HVAC and chilling equipment. Perform light construction/carpentry and repair to include painting, installing, adjusting and refurbishing facilities/equipment. Perform light landscaping duties on all properties. Ensure that maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner. Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations.
Environment & Position Analysis:
Move, bend, lift, carry, climb, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion and includes utilizing telephone/computer as needed. Work outdoors for long periods of time.
General Requirements:
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees in an attentive, courteous and service oriented manner. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by others. Must be able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines. Comply with all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property management operations. Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, schematics, building plans, etc. Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
GED or Equivalent Must have 3-5 years HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or mechanical experience. Licenses or Certificates in HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends
