Pool Technician

Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools pristine. Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for pool operation. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections for each client site. Assist with chemical balancing and water testing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Identify potential equipment failures early and recommend necessary repairs or replacements to prevent future issues. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in a related field involving mechanical knowledge and equipment repair is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, water testing, and chemical adjustments. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems used in pool equipment repair. Strong understanding of pool systems including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and plumbing components. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently. Previous experience working with maintenance or service teams is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
