Swimming Pool Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Pool Technician to join our professional maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, cleanliness, and safety of swimming pools across various locations. Your expertise will help maintain pristine pool conditions, enhance user experience, and uphold safety standards. Duties Conduct regular inspections of swimming pools to assess water quality, equipment functionality, and overall condition Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and maintaining water clarity Maintain and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems using appropriate hand tools and power tools Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime Monitor chemical levels and adjust treatments to ensure safe and balanced water chemistry in compliance with health standards Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment status for reporting purposes Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools to prepare them for use or shutdown periods Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance roles; familiarity with pool systems is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and plumbing systems Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components using hand tools and power tools Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water treatment protocols Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining safe and enjoyable swimming environments, we encourage you to apply today.
