Mobile Maintenance Technician Job Summary The Mobile Maintenance Technician is responsible for traveling to multiple properties to perform general maintenance, repairs, and service requests. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently while maintaining high-quality standards and customer service. Vehicle to be provided. Key Responsibilities Travel to assigned properties to complete maintenance and repair tasks Perform general repairs including: Drywall patching and painting Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilet resets) Basic electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches) Door and window repairs/replacements Complete exterior maintenance such as: Pressure washing Minor carpentry and trim repairs Railing and deck repairs Diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions in the field Communicate clearly with property managers, tenants, and team members Document work performed, including photos and notes Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided) Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards Qualifications 2+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience preferred Strong knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders as needed Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Skills Experience in property management or apartment maintenance Familiarity with work order systems or mobile apps Basic understanding of preventative maintenance practices Work Environment Field-based position traveling to multiple job sites daily Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions May require occasional evening or weekend work Additional Notes This position requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company positively while on-site Technician must be comfortable working alone and in a team environment Have the ability to make decisions in the field
