MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Housing Authority of the City of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor this position will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs including internal unit repair, external property repair, common area maintenance, and preventive maintenance functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Skilled in all areas of maintenance repairs for interior & exterior of buildings and grounds, including but not limited to plumbing; minor electric; drywall repair; & general maintenance. Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used to perform maintenance and repair work. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and to document completion of assignments in written form. Valid Florida driver's license. High school graduate or GED from a recognized issuing agency. 1-2 years' experience in all areas of the building maintenance field. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, stand, walk, use hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Must be available for night & weekend emergencies.
Pay:
$39,818.00 - $46,783.00 per year
