Full Job Description Overview:
Make a meaningful impact every day! ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance & Fleet Technician to support our residential homes, office facilities, and vehicles. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring daily travel between locations. The ideal candidate has experience in both building maintenance and vehicle repair and can work independently to keep our environments safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair residential homes, office facilities, and fleet vehicles Perform repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance Conduct vehicle inspections, maintenance, and safety training Complete and document routine property and vehicle inspections Maintain HVAC and septic systems Coordinate with and oversee outside contractors as needed Assist with annual maintenance planning for all properties
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in building maintenance and vehicle repair Strong working knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety standards Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and work independently Effective communication skills
Requirements:
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance Ability to pass a Level II background screening
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, enter crawl spaces Frequent standing, walking, bending, and driving between locations Use of power tools and equipment
