Job Description

HandyMania LLC is a family owned and operated local Handyman company.
Job Summary:
This is a 1099 role. Appropriate IRS paperwork required. Please have references available. Please submit a resume in English. Please do not apply if you don't have any of the skills listed below. We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various facilities, equipment, and systems in residential and commercial properties and communicating clearly with Customers and staff. This is NOT an apprentice role. Looking for skilled and effective leader in the field.
Responsibilities :
  • Must have experience with general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, drywall, etc.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Replace electrical / plumbing fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Must have your own tools in safe working conditions.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle preferably one that can carry tools and supplies safely and be willing to travel up to 30 miles.
  • Respond promptly to text messages , voice mails and maintenance requests.
Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills. We are a 5 star rated company and we have multiple loyal and corporate customers.
  • Fluently speaks and understands English.
  • Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Strong knowledge of general repair and maintenance processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various issues with equipment and systems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must have basic computer and smartphone skills.
This role is ideal for a semi-retired/retired person looking to keep active and make some extra money and for established handymen who are looking to focus on their skills in the field and have the admin taken care of for them. We provide marketing, lead generation, billing, etc. You can set your own schedule and get paid for doing the field work without having to worry about all the extra time and money spent on administrative tasks. If you are a dedicated handy person with a passion for ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and customers are happy we encourage you to apply. Qualifications
  • Customer service experience to provide excellent service and address client needs
  • Proficiency in using a variety of power tools
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Experience in construction painting for maintenance projects
  • Fluent in English to communicate clearly with clients and understand instructions
  • Bilingual a plus
