Maintenance Staff Member

Assist Facility Manager in the daily operations to ensure the proper, safe, compliant and fiscally responsible operations of our campus, including:

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Operations & Maintenance Assist in the day-to-day operation and upkeep of all campus buildings and grounds. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and repair opportunities (lighting, doors, ceilings, furniture, etc.). Perform and/or assist with minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks. Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, including routine filter changes and reporting issues requiring vendor support. Ensure all facilities are operating efficiently and report larger issues requiring outside contractors. Event & Program Support Set up and break down rooms for meetings, programs, religious services, and special events. Assist with logistics for holidays and large-scale campus events, ensuring spaces are properly prepared and restored. Work collaboratively with staff to ensure event needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Campus Support Functions Update and maintain the outdoor marquee/signage as directed by administrative staff. Provide general support to various departments to ensure smooth campus operations. Respond promptly to facility-related requests from staff and leadership. Compliance & Safety Support efforts to maintain a safe and compliant campus environment. Identify and report safety hazards and assist in implementing corrective measures. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Additional Duties Perform other facility-related responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operation of the campus. Qualifications Basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair (plumbing, electrical, HVAC preferred). Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working both indoors and outdoors. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to support evening or weekend events as needed. Hiring contingent upon background check '
