This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations across various systems. Your expertise will help maintain an efficient environment, enhance safety standards, and support our commitment to operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems effectively. Perform welding tasks and residential painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals to diagnose problems accurately. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while coordinating with team members or contractors when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all maintenance activities. Support manufacturing operations or residential environments by maintaining machinery, fixtures, and infrastructure. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Lead or assist with training new team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices when required. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential. Ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting practices. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred. Excellent understanding of safety standards and procedures related to facilities maintenance. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus; ability to guide team members effectively. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration.
