The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the property to ensure it remains safe, functional, and well-maintained for all occupants. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and structural integrity upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
Keep common areas clean, organized, and in good condition.
Plumbing Repairs:
Address and resolve leaks, clogged drains, and toilets to maintain functionality.
Lock Maintenance:
Replace or repair locks as needed.
HVAC Systems:
Ensure heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are functioning properly by performing routine checks and repairs.
Structural Upkeep:
Maintain the integrity of walls, roofs, and other structural elements to ensure safety and durability.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent issues before they arise.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance practices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in property maintenance. Basic understanding of structural maintenance and repair. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
