Also, take time to hear great musical acts at the Carillon concerts. Exciting opportunity to join our hotel as a maintenance engineer. The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical plant, including its equipment,systems, and grounds. They ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff by performing preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and addressing emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. Implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets. Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures. Addressing and resolving guest maintenance requests efficiently and courteously. Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities,including repairs, inspections, and replacements. Working with other departments, such as housekeeping andsecurity, to ensure smooth hotel operations. Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various hotelequipment and systems. Assisting with the planning and execution of maintenance projects, including renovations and installations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as HVAC and refrigeration. 
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively. 
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff. 
PhysicalStamina:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting andcarrying equipment. 
SafetyAwareness:
Thorough understanding of safety regulations andprocedures.  Attention to
Detail:
