Position Description We are looking for a practical and meticulous Sign Installer to join our staff. As a Sign Installer, you will be involved in the installation of both interior and exterior signs, site surveys, and ensuring that all projects are of the highest standard. This is a suitable opportunity for a detail-driven professional with a passion for installation work. Responsibilities Provide dimensional letters, monument signs, panels, window and wall graphics, ADA and wayfinding signs, basic vehicle graphics, and other types of signs (interior and exterior). Conduct site surveys for measurement, substrate evaluation, mounting locations, height and access, and electrical power (when required). Interpret drawings, specs, permits, and work orders, and check the material and hardware before departure. Operate hand and power tools safely: drills, grinders, saws, riveters, levels, lasers, heat guns; and access equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, and boom/lift equipment.

Quality of finish:

alignment, level and plumb, surface preparation, cleanup, and protection of surroundings. Communicate professionally with clients onsite, and scope changes and issues are elevated to project management and production. Follow safety procedures (PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout if appropriate.) and local and/or OSHA regulations.

Documentation:

checklists, before and after pictures, service history, time sheets. Provide and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and supplies; also help with work performed in shop (pre-assembly, substrate preparation, clean up). Must-Have Qualifications 1-2 years of experience related to sign installation, light construction, and/or carpentry/metal work. Excellent knowledge of anchors, substrates, adhesives, and fastening methods; experience with applying cut vinyl and printed graphics (dry/wet mounting). Ability to work at heights and operate ladders, scaffolding, and lift systems. Ability to read basic drawings and schematics. Ability to follow specifications. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; willingness to work throughout South Florida. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50-75 lbs., and to work outdoors. U.S. work authorization; background/screening may be required per company policy.

Language Skills:

Must have the ability to speak and write English, Spanish fluency is a plus. Preferred Qualifications OSHA-10/OSHA-30 or formal safety training. Experience with channel letters, monument signs, and illuminated signs (low-voltage fundamentals); and work with licensed electricians if required. Lift/boom operation experience and certification. Vehicle wraps/partial wraps and large-format wall mural installations. Knowledge of ADA standards for signs and wayfinding. DOT experience and/or experience driving service vans/light trucks. Direct interaction with clients at job sites and good problem-solving abilities. Core Competencies Quality of workmanship and detail. Required Personal Protective Equipment:
