Our Lake Worth Beach center partners with organizations across South Florida to design, manufacture, and deliver a wide range of signage—from dimensional letters and vehicle graphics to interior signs, ADA signage, and large-format displays. Position Description

FASTSIGNS

® of Lake Worth Beach is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Sign Maker/Production Specialist to join our team. This role involves producing, assembling, and preparing a wide variety of signs while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, mechanically inclined, and experienced in sign fabrication or related production work. Responsibilities Produce and assemble interior and exterior signs, including dimensional letters, panels, monument sign components, ADA signs, vinyl graphics, and other custom signage.

Operate production and finishing equipment:

large-format printers, laminators, plotters, CNC/router tables (if applicable), cutters, heat guns, and hand/power tools.

Prepare substrates:

cutting, routing, drilling, sanding, painting, applying vinyl, and mounting printed graphics. Perform file prep and output tasks using production software (Flexi, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar). Maintain color consistency, print quality, proper lamination, and accurate cut paths. Follow work orders, shop drawings, production specs, and brand standards. Assist with pre-assembly of signs for installation, including fastening methods and hardware preparation. Manage material inventory, monitor supply levels, and maintain an organized and clean production area. Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish quality, and durability before delivery or installation. Follow all safety and equipment procedures in compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines. Occasionally assist the installation team as needed. Must-Have Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in sign making, print production, fabrication, or similar shop/technical work. Experience with vinyl application (cut vinyl, printed graphics, wet/dry installs). Ability to safely use hand and power tools: drills, saws, sanders, cutters, etc. Familiarity with substrates such as acrylic, aluminum, PVC, ACM, foam board, wood, and banner materials. Working knowledge of adhesives, fasteners, laminates, and production techniques. Basic ability to read shop drawings, production layouts, and installation diagrams. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work. Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods. Valid driver's license preferred. U.S. work authorization; background screening may apply. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating large-format printers, plotters, laminators, or CNC/router equipment. Knowledge of ADA sign manufacturing and wayfinding systems. Experience producing channel letter components or monument sign parts. Painting, finishing, or fabrication skills (routing, bending, welding, etc.). Understanding of production workflow, color management, and print finishing. Ability to troubleshoot equipment or production issues. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment.
