Handyman

Job Summary I'm looking for a handyman to help two guys with a decent amount of experience. We're more looking for a helper who is reliable and will show up on time. Having your own tools isn't an exact requirement; we have tools. We're looking to pay about $15 to $20 an hour but we could pay more for someone with significant experience and a truck. We have several projects going on between North Lakeland and South Lakeland. We need someone with at least basic handyman experience that can use a saw, hammer, and screw gun. Light electrical and plumbing would be nice but not required. We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Your expertise will help keep our properties in top condition, allowing operations to run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general repairs across multiple facilities Respond promptly to repair requests address issues efficiently Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities Collaborate with vendors or contractors when specialized repairs or installations are required Requirements Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set in repairs and troubleshooting Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and basic appliance repair Ability to read technical manuals and follow safety guidelines diligently Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling diverse tasks Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Join us if you're eager to apply your practical skills in a lively environment where your work makes a real difference!
