Customer Service:
Travel to customers' homes in a company-provided work truck and serve as the face of Florida Garage Door Pros. Diagnose garage door and opener issues, educate customers on available repair and replacement options, and provide honest recommendations tailored to their needs and budget. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by communicating professionally, arriving on time, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring every customer feels informed, respected, and confident in the work being performed. Our technicians are expected to uphold our reputation for outstanding service and contribute to the thousands of five-star reviews that have made us one of Florida's most trusted garage door companies. Quoting and Repairs:
Build and present options for repair or replacement of garage doors and/or openers. Complete the necessary repairs during the visit or schedule a follow-up with the appropriate materials. Inventory Management:
Inventory Management:
Manage and maintain truck inventory to ensure you are fully equipped to complete repairs and installations efficiently. Track parts usage, maintain accurate inventory counts, keep the truck clean and organized. Requirements:
Minimum 3 years prior garage door technician experience Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of and skills in using various hand and power tools Sales-minded professional with the ability to build rapport, educate customers on available options, and consistently convert service opportunities into revenue while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and every other Saturday (No Sundays) Comfortable spending time on the road and traveling throughout our service area. This position requires daily driving between customer locations, and candidates should be comfortable with windshield time as part of the job.
