We're looking for a Pool Field Support Specialist who leads through action, accountability, professionalism, and problem-solving. Why Join Patriot Pool & Spa Competitive Compensation + Performance Incentives Company Take-Home Truck & Gas Card Company-Paid Dental Insurance Medical Benefits & 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Stable Year-Round Work Leadership Growth Opportunities Strong Team Culture & Supportive Leadership People-First Company Focused on Development & Success What You'll Be Doing Lead & Support Field Operations Support and cover service routes as needed to maintain customer commitments Prepare new, neglected, or problem pools to ensure route readiness Conduct quality control checks, service follow-ups, and route corrections Troubleshoot field issues and provide onsite operational support Maintain operational readiness through inventory oversight, equipment management, and vehicle inspections Train & Develop Technicians Train, mentor, and support technicians on service standards and best practices Assist with onboarding and field training for new hires Help improve technician consistency, efficiency, and service quality Deliver Excellent Customer Service Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently Provide service recommendations and on-site quotes when needed Represent Patriot Pool & Spa with professionalism and positivity in the field Perform Pool Service Responsibilities Clean and maintain residential and commercial pools Test and balance water chemistry Brush, vacuum, skim, and remove debris Clean and backwash filters Inspect equipment and ensure proper operation Document completed work using mobile apps and service software What We're Looking For Must have 2-3+ years of pool service experience Previous leadership, training, mentoring, or field support experience strongly preferred Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Familiarity with Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and related systems preferred Positive attitude and team-first mindset Ability to work independently while supporting a larger operation Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather conditions Valid driver's license with clean driving history (minimum 3 years) Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report Bonus Points If You Have CPO Certification Commercial pool experience Repair or equipment troubleshooting experience Experience conducting quality control or route audits Previous onboarding or technician coaching experience What Sets Great Candidates Apart You lead through action, consistency, and accountability You stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly in the field You enjoy helping technicians improve and succeed You take pride in delivering high-quality service You balance efficiency, customer service, and operational support effectively You're motivated by growth and leadership opportunities What the Day-to-Day Looks Like Supporting technicians and routes throughout the field Working outdoors in Florida's heat and varying weather conditions Troubleshooting service and operational issues in real time Using mobile technology and communication tools daily Driving between customer and branch locations in a company vehicle Maintaining service quality and operational consistency across the team Why This Role Matters The Pool Field Support Specialist is a key operational leader within the branch. General Office Environment:
Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
Outdoor Service Environment:
Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Requirements:
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
At client locations:
While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, reach with hands and arms, crouch, crawl, twist, push/pull, lift/carry on a regular basis up to 50 lbs. throughout the day, lift/carry occasionally lift up to 100lbs., hand, eye, and foot coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The ability to swim as this position may work near swimming pools.
