We're expanding our footprint and need an experienced Handyman / Maintenance Technician to support our property maintenance needs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual to fulfill the firm's role of Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing our commercial real estate portfolio and is involved in all aspects of day-to-day maintenance and repair of the property as it relates to air conditioning, plumbing, electrical work, janitorial and general maintenance, among other various tasks. The Maintenance Technician receives service requests and must fulfill and repair property owners and tenant's maintenance issues to company standards. Responsibilities and Duties Include but not limited to: Reviews Work Orders/Service Requests daily and coordinates with property manager to prioritize which work is accomplished first. Responsible for maintenance inquiries that include, but not limited to: air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair. Be open to new skills and tasks. If there are no active Work Orders or while you're at a particular property, conducts periodic inspections of the property and tenant spaces to ensure the proper upkeep. Must have sufficient knowledge of construction to coordinate and oversee all tenant and building maintenance - ensuring timely completion of projects within established budget and performed in accordance with HERITAGE's standards, applicable lease provisions and local code enforcement

• Reports to property management team daily to share information on completed projects and receive tasks for new assignments

Required Qualifications:

5 plus years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician Owns a smart-phone (Apple/Android) Owns a personal vehicle (mid/full-size truck) and tools Exceptional communication and organizational skills; detail oriented

HVAC/EPA

Certification (Preferred) High school or equivalent education Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
