Job Description

Orange Technical College - West Campus is seeking a maintenance technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property.

Ocoee Apopka Road Compensation:
$15 per hour Part-time hourly, non-benefitted position Hours per week: 15-25 hours per week
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in maintenance experience Must possess solid knowledge and hands-on skills related to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, staining, and concrete repair. Must have a valid driver's license. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on campus facilities to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics of the campus. Provide excellent customer service to administrators, faculty, and staff regarding maintenance requests. Must be aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition or perform routine preventive maintenance Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repairs. Report all major repairs and need requisitions to school administration prior to any expenditure of funds. Must be team oriented and a problem solver. Stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting. Lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet. Climb ladders and stairs.
