As a Facility Maintenance Tech , you will play a critical role in supporting daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving shop equipment and facility systems. This position is responsible for minimizing downtime and ensuring machinery, tools, and building systems remain safe, functional, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, mechanically inclined, responsive under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive manufacturing environment while coordinating effectively with production staff and outside service providers when needed. Mechanical Aptitude :
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shop equipment including CNC machines, welders, presses, saws, forklifts, and compressors. Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and identify when outside technical support is requiredTechnical Proficiency :
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and responding quickly to downtime situationsManufacturing Maintenance Experience :
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment preferredBlueprint & Schematic Reading :
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsFacility Maintenance Knowledge :
Maintain facility systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, air lines, and general building repairs Organization and Attention toDetail :
Maintain maintenance logs and service records, conduct routine inspections and safety checks, and keep maintenance areas organized and stocked with necessary parts and suppliesCommunication Skills :
Coordinate effectively with production staff to schedule repairs and minimize operational disruptionSafety Mindset :
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safetyForklift Experience :
Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certificationIndependence and Prioritization:
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple maintenance needs simultaneouslyPhysical Stamina and Strength :
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work comfortably in an industrial shop environmentValid Driver's License :
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordSense of Humor and Communication Skills:
